All hound collars, walking leads, and collar/lead sets are
made of high strength nylon webbing, welded "o" rings and
are triple stitched for durability. Hound collars are made in 1
inch and 2 inch widths, lined with polar fleece for comfort
and trimmed in an array of elegant woven braid. There is an
existing number of collars already made from which to pick
or I can try to put together color/braid combinations by
request. Subject to material availability. Hound collars
distribute the pressure of the collar around the neck over a
wider area and make dogs much more comfortable. They
come in a 1-ring slip type collar, 2-ring martingale and a
2-ring coursing collar.
Cuff collars are made of satin, brocade, jacquard, or other
fancy types of fabric. They are big enough to go over a
dogs head. Elegant woven braid of similar or contrasting
color running the circumference of the cuff forms a channel
for a slip collar made of parachute cord. When the cuff
collar is used, the slip collar inside the channel slides on the
fabric rather than tangling in the neck coat of the dog.
